Start your urban exploration at the dazzling Grand Palace to marvel at its spectacular architecture and learn about Thailand's history and culture. Within the
palace complex, you will also visit Wat Phra Kaew, which enshrines the Emerald Buddha with its robe changed by the King of Thailand according to the season.
Followed by a local flower and vegetable market.
After lunch, put aside the hustle of the city and take a long-tailed boat along the crisscrossing canals lined with various houses, temples, and restaurants to see the different aspects of local life. Before disembarkation, appreciate the unique beauty of Wat Arun from the boat on the river. Today's last stop is the sacred Wat Po
(Temple of the Reclining Buddha), Founded in the 16th century, the oldest temple with the largest number of pagodas (95 in all) in the city.

After a leisurely morning, take a private transfer to the airport for a brief flight to Sukhothai, where Loy Krathong - the festival of light - originated from the period of
the Sukhothai Kingdom (1238 -1438).
Upon landing, be collected from the airport and transferred directly to your hotel. This evening, head out with your guide to join exciting celebrations, such as
traditional exhibitions of dance, play, and martial arts.

temple stands as a magnificent testament to Lanna architecture. From the towering chedi to the intricate murals and carvings, every detail exudes a sense of awe and
charm.
Once reaching Chiang Mai, the historical seat of the Lanna Kingdom from the 13th to 18th centuries, settle into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of today at leisure.

You are then free to relax for a few hours before heading out in the late afternoon to experience the grand Yi Peng Festival Celebration. Enjoy cultural performances
such as Sword Dance, sample Lanna Thai basket set, and witness the monk chanting and meditation ceremony before releasing sky lanterns as a form of
worship to the Lord Buddha. Swarms of lit lanterns resemble giant fluorescent jellyfish gracefully rising into the night sky. Thai people believe that this will float

- Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest,
and local farming areas.
- Arrive at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Walk through and learn about the
elephants and change into traditional Karen clothing
- Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural
environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the
elephants.
- Mud Spa with the elephants (*optional)
- Walk with the elephants to a river and bathe them.
- Eat a traditional meal and then say goodbye to the elephants.
