Get your creative juices flowing and make your own creations with Laughing Pottery, using all-natural local clay.
Explore the property and take a dip in the natural swimming hole. Or soak in the hot tub with your favorite wine.

Walk the historic Karangahake Gorge and make a stop at a local eatery for lush food and refreshments
Weather permitting stroll the stunning Waihi beach and enjoy the history at the historic Windows Loop walk.

Unwind and relax with a gentle beginner's yoga session or sound healing session.
Lap up a gorgeous group dinner at our cabin with produce from the Falls Retreat Restaurant and enjoy lush local produce and food.

Get your creative juices flowing with this fun and rewarding pottery session with Andrew of Laughing Pottery-you will produce a cup and two bowls to remind you of this fun weekend.

Chilling at The Log Cabin

Location : The Log Cabin Franklin Road, Waihi, New Zealand

Relax and put your feet up! Take a dip in the gorgeous hot-tub, enjoy local produce from The Falls Retreat at our group dinner, or just grab a book and curl up. The choice is yours.

Relax and be Zen

Haven't tried yoga before? That's OK, don't stress! This is a low impact, gentle morning stretch and a great introduction to yoga.

Explore the historic Karangahake Gorge

Weather permiting we get out in the fresh air to enjoy the historical mining area of the Karangahake Gorge, with its beautiful natural setting we will walk one of these stunning tracks before heading the the Karangahake Estate Winery.

Come and try one of the areas boutique gin producers with a private tasting at an historic local tavern.

I can't wait to be your host on my Escape Weekend Retreat weekend. We all need a bit of "me" time to recharge our batteries, get inspired and make amazing new connections. This weekend is designed to give you a stress free, fun and creative time away. Where you get to unwind, grab a glass of your favorite wine, soak in the hot tub and make great new friends.

A little bit about me:

I am the woman behind Wanderlust Solo Women Tours. I'm passionate about ensuring all my tours & retreats are fun filled and informative.

I was inspired to encourage and facilitate women’s travel after my own trans-formative experiences whilst exploring the world solo, after a relationship break up and a total refocus on life.

I hope to infuse each tour & retreat with opportunity for women to try new things, push the boundaries of their comfort zones and see the beauty that the world has to offer all the while forming solid friendships with like-minded women.

We can cater to some food allergies or vegetarians/vegan if you specify your dietary requirements under the Edit Profile link in the upper right corner of the trip page.

We will also send out "customize retreat" details for you to fill out closer to the retreat date. So keep an eye out for all our emails in your inbox, or check "junk folder" and mark it as safe.
